Nos sirve para buscar posibles vulnerabilidades en nuestros sistemas de nuestra red, podemos decir que es como un “Escanercillo de vulnerabilidades by MS”. Lo primero descargarlo de la web de Microsoft (HERE) o desde mi servidor la version 2.0 – HERE. Esta diseñado especificamente para buscar que equipos de nuestra red que no se actualizan los parches de Microsoft y tenemos un SUS o un WSUS in our network, expresamente es para ver de vez en cuando si todos están OK, o si hay algun fallo de seguridad en alguno…

Y lo abrimos, nos dejara un precioso icono en el escritorio “Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.0”

En la izquierda le indicamos a cuandos PC’s vamos a hacer el escaneo, si solo a uno en concreto para mirarle vulnerabilidades o a un rango de ellos… In my case, I choose to take the test 2 PC's, On the right, I put the IP range: 192.168.0.2 a 192.168.0.3 And I just want to check if they get updated or not with Windows Update or SUS or WSUS, I also take the opportunity for it to check a few more things, Like something about security, Like passwords… and we give “Start scan”

MS Baseline will connect to the internet to download a database with the latest patches to also check that everything is up to date…Hope…
