In this document we will see the possibilities we have through alarms, being able to create and define alarms with any parameter, whether it's about the host's, Resource pools, or virtual machines directly. We will be able to create alarms with the loading parameters that interest us and then select what action to perform.

This short document shows how you would upgrade an earlier version of VMware VirtualCenter to the current version 2.5. It is assumed that the database is located on a SQL Server or Oracle database server. Once the VirtualCenter has been upgraded, it is advisable to upgrade the ESX servers to the latest version of VMware ESX, the 3.5 – HERE.
