Hello I'm Oscar Mas on occasions, we may find that when implementing the UPM system in a XenDesktop environment, over time and based on various characteristics, We can observe that the loading of the profile becomes excessively slow and this causes despair to the end users. We will always recommend you to enable the redirection of certain folders through Citrix policies in addition to certain paths that we put in this post!

It is almost always a consequence of the temporary files that Internet Explorer generates in our profile, which can take up a considerable amount of space. To solve this issue, we can exclude the directory where Internet Explorer stores the temporary files, so that they do not travel with our profile when opening and closing it, as follows:

In this way, this will help speed up the loading of UPM profiles. I hope it helps you.
