Citrix Receiver for HTML5 is now available, with which our users can connect through a browser to the applications or desktops of our Citrix XenApp or Citrix XenDesktop infrastructure, without the need to have a Citrix client installed.

The supported browsers are Google Chrome (version 19 or higher) o Mozilla Firefox (version 11 or higher), on both Windows and Mac.

The first thing will be to have the Hotfix Rollup Pack 1 by XenApp 6.5 on our XA servers. Then we will install Group Policy Management components (1.7.0). Subsequently, we will restart the XenApp server.

We'll enable WebSockets connections by editing or creating a policy applied to our servers > “ICA” > “WebSockets” & Allowed.

We will install Citrix HTML5 HDX Engine on our Storefront servers,

Open the configuration utility from “Beginning” > “All Programs” > “Citrix” > “Citrix HTML5 HDX Engine” > “Citrix HTML5 HDX Engine Configuration”. We enter the full URL of our websites with the path '/Citrix/StoreWeb’

And we will be able to test our connection!! we can copy and paste text or send Ctrl+Alt+Del with a toolbar,
