Publishing Citrix XenDesktop Applications to Citrix XenDesktop

I'm Oscar Mas and sometimes, We can see different products that make our lives easier, when delivering applications to our XenDesktop-based desktop servers. Some are well known such as Microsoft's APP-V, which has seamless integration with XenDesktop. Others are not as well-known as might be the case with VMWare App Volumes. But one of the best systems for delivering applications from our XenDesktop servers, is XenDesktop itself. The idea is to deliver applications from a XenDesktop Delivery Group to a XenDesktop Delivery Group, which simply gives us the desks.

Citrix XenDesktop – DFS Namespace

What this Microsoft Role allows us, is to be able to manage different Storages, creating a single point of access through our DFS-N in a transparent manner, without having to know exactly where the data is located.

Session Recording in Citrix XenApp 7.6 Feature Pack 1

One of the main novelties brought by the Feature Pack 1 Citrix XenApp or XenDesktop 7.6 was the retrieval of user session recordings in Citrix, being able to record on video any interaction of users with corporate apps; formerly known as SmartAuditor and now as Session Recording. While it is true, for now it is only supported on server OS., so on desktops we will still have to wait!
