CrowdSec Console
One of the latest novelties of CrowdSec is that it allows us to access via the web through its Console the status of our protected computers. Thus, from a modern web panel we will be able to see the decisions, The Actions… Subscribe to Blacklists…
While it is true, that with the Community version we will have some limitation, but I understand that it is quite affordable and we will be able to work perfectly.
We access https://app.crowdsec.net and we sign up & We logged in,
A fairly simple portal that will already indicate how we can proceed to, about our machines with CrowdSec installed, who can register with the console. Or if we need to deploy the engine and bouncers from scratch,
We sign up from every CrowdSec…
And a pop-up will pop up in the CrowdSec Console to get us to accept the request,
Perfect! We already have our first machine under control, we must remember that once added, we will restart CrowdSec on the machine using:
sudo systemctl restart crowdsec
We rename each team so that we can better associate them,
After a little work we will have all our machines added, From here we can see the alerts that pop up. Remember that with the Community version they allow us to subscribe to 3 Public blacklists, We will do it too.
And nothing, This would be another of the views, Detected alerts…
I encourage you to take a look at it, fully compatible with the installations we already have where we can have a central LAPI, Our IP Mirror for Our Perimeter Firewalls…
I send you a very big hug, I hope as always that it has been of interest to you. Have a great week, See you on Thursday with another post, I promise 😉
Care!
