VMware WSX

A tool that can help us simplify our connectivity to our virtual infrastructure is VMware WSX, This small web server, it will allow us to connect from any device with an HTML5-compatible browser to our virtual machines, either to manage it or to VDI desktops in the case of our end users.

XenApp Manager

A lightweight application released by Citrix for Windows users 8 or RT (on PCs, tablets…) is XenApp Manager; an application that will help us manage our users' sessions on XenApp farms 6.5 in a simple way! We will be able to quickly search for an ICA session (Citrix HDX) or RDP to close or disconnect it; we will be able to manage up to 10 farms simultaneously and 10.000 Sessions!

Raspberry Pi – Introduction

These days that we are testing different ThinClients a Raspberry Pi has passed through my hands, that is not a ThinClient, but obviously it can be used as it, I wanted to write this article to bring this device closer to all those who do not know it or have been lucky enough to be able to try it. The PRi (Model B) It's a small computer (700Mhz ARM CPU and 512Mb RAM) with 2 USB outputs, 1 RJ45, 1 HDMI, 1 RCA, GPIO connector, Space for 1 SD CARD and that we will feed with a MicroUSB at 5V. We can get a Raspberry Pi for about 30€. ¿Cheap? No! The following!

Installing and Configuring VMware vCenter Operations Manager

This document will try to show the deployment of a tool that may be little used yet but with a very good potential and certainly a very useful tool to complete our vSphere infrastructure. This is vCenter Operations Manager which will allow us to configure it to see the life status of our virtualization services, as well as being able to locate trends of failure or decrease in available resources based on the growth detected.
