Configuring Citrix Receiver Using Email
We can easily enable the discovery of a Citrix account in our users' Receivers, We will allow you to open the client the first time, By entering only their email address, all the options are configured so that they can access their applications or remote desktops!
Alternatively, we can use administrative templates to configure GPOs and specify the StoreFront site if we have an Active Directory. This is the easiest way, We will configure an SRV record in our DNS that will provide the URL of our Store!
We will create an SRV record in the organization's public DNS and another in the internal DNS of our network, In the domain we want to resolve when the user enters @domain. We will create the service '_citrixreceiver'’ Using the '_tcp' protocol, Port '443'’ And in the host offering the service we will enter the FQDN of our Access Gateway (In the public DNS) And our StoreFront in case it is the internal DNS.
