In this document we will see something super useful for all those who have a Citrix XenApp or Citrix XenDesktop environment, and it's nothing more than the possibility of showing a small message to our users from the StoreFront. I'm Oscar Mas and recently, in another post I explained how to configure a balancer between a NetScaler and several StoreFronts. The configuration consisted of Microsoft's NLB, which we installed on the two StoreFfront servers, This system provided us with the functionalities of balancer and failover.
How lately I've been quite a liadete, I'll leave you some quality in return: a post by the great Oscar Mas!!! I would like to show you one of the possible systems that exist, to be able to balance the HTTPS requests that are made to our StoreFront. This functionality is quite simple to implement and can be given to us by NLB (Network Load Balancing) Microsoft's.
I'm Oscar Mas and when we deployed a StoreFront 3.X, by default, when users access the system, the “Favorites”. This can confuse the end user, since it can't find your apps or desktop.

We can easily enable the discovery of a Citrix account in our users' Receivers, We will allow you to open the client the first time, By entering only their email address, all the options are configured so that they can access their applications or remote desktops!
In a previous document we saw how to create a StoreFront pool to have the site in high availability with the same configuration on all nodes; and in this document we will look at a very simple way of how to use NetScaler as a balancing to distribute the load of customer requests to our StoreFront servers using a virtual server.
